How our residential painting works

Every project starts with a free, no-obligation estimate and ends with a clean site and a final walk through.

  1. Free estimate

We walk the house with you, talk through colors and priorities, and give you a clear estimate.

  2. Plan the work

We schedule the project around your household and explain what to expect each day.

  3. Prep and paint

We protect your belongings, fix and prime problem areas, then apply clean, even coats.

  4. Clean up and walk through

We tidy up every day, and at the end we walk the home with you to make sure you're happy.

Front entry refinish

Weathered front doors, brought back to life

Sun and weather had worn these wood doors down to a dull, gray finish. A rich red stain restored the wood's warmth and gave the entry a finished, cared-for look.

Common questions

Do I need to move out while you paint?

No. Most homeowners stay home during the project. We work room by room or side by side and keep the house as livable as possible.

Will you protect my furniture and floors?

Yes. We cover and mask floors, furniture, fixtures and landscaping before we start, and clean up at the end of each day.

Can you paint my home before I sell it?

Yes. A fresh coat is one of the most effective ways to prepare a home for sale. Tell us your listing timeline and we'll plan around it.

Do you work on older and historic homes?

Yes. We regularly work on Victorian and period homes. See our historic renovation service for more.

How long does residential painting take?

It depends on the size of the home, the amount of prep and whether we're painting inside, outside or both. We'll give you a timeline with your free estimate and keep you updated as the residential painting progresses.
